Mark Frauman


Mark has been a licensed general contractor since 1981 and a land developer and home builder in Arizona. A career business builder, Mark began his entrepreneurial career by anticipating market trends to build California’s largest solar micro-utility contracting firm between 1979 and 1985. Major projects included the Olympic Athletes Village at UCLA for the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. Mark later built companies that installed over 2,000 communication cabinets at cell phone sites for PacBell and Nextel and with his software engineer partners, founded ProcureNet, Inc – one of the first ecommerce firms. Mark has completed hundreds of commercial, industrial and residential real estate projects and maintains a fully vetted BBB accredited A+ rating. Adam Salis

Chief Financial Officer

Adam brings over 30 years of experience as a transactional real estate attorney, commercial real estate asset manager and project sponsor. His work experience includes positions as an acquisitions manager and special assets loan officer with Archon Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Goldman, Sachs & Company. While at Goldman Adam also served as a Senior Asset Manager where he managed a residential and commercial real estate portfolio of both debt and equity assets. In 1997, Adam formed a joint venture with a New York-based hedge fund to purchase and operate a portfolio of shopping centers located in Southern California. Adam is currently a principal in Summerland Senior Living, a developer of assisted living and memory care facilities.  Adam is also a founder and principal in Castle Rock Capital, which provides off-market investment and development opportunities to 1031 exchange investors and institutional real estate buyers.  Adam graduated cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley and received his law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.  Adam can be reached at

A.G. Kawamura

Board Member and Chief Agriculture Strategist

A.G. Kawamura is a 3rd generation fruit and vegetable grower and shipper from Southern California. He is the former Secretary of the California Department of Food and Agriculture (2003-2010). He serves on several boards and committees including: Solutions From the Land, founding co-chair; Farm Foundation, Board and Roundtable Member; American Farmland Trust, Board Member; Chicago Council on Global Affairs and AGree Initiative, Advisory Committee member; Western Growers Association, Board Member; Delta Vision Foundation, Founding Board Member; Southern California Water Committee Trustee; Solutions For Urban Agriculture, founding chair.

He is dedicated to the goal of ending hunger in our lifetime and has worked in innovative ways to provide fresh produce to local food banks through his non-profit, Solutions For Urban Agriculture. Currently, and through his company, Orange County Produce, LLC, he is engaged in building an exciting, interactive 21st century agricultural solution showcase at the OC Great Park in Irvine, CA.
